當兵的時候讀的這本 覺得蠻有收穫的 整理一下自己比較有感的幾個部分
書本身很薄 讀起來不像一般的商業書 比較像是把 Naval 在各種 Podcast 和 Twitter 上講過的話整理起來 口語 片段式的 但很多句子會讓你停下來想一下
財富
"Wealth is assets that earn while you sleep."
Naval 把財富 金錢 地位分開來講 金錢是工具 地位是零和遊戲 財富是你不工作的時候還能產出價值的東西
自己之前一直覺得工程師就是想辦法提升時薪 但他講的是更根本的事情：讓產出跟時間脫鉤
"You're not going to get rich renting out your time. You must own equity — a piece of a business — to gain your financial freedom."
專屬知識
這個概念我覺得蠻有意思的 他說的 specific knowledge 就是那種沒辦法被訓練出來 沒辦法被規模化取代的知識
"Specific knowledge is found by pursuing your genuine curiosity and passion rather than whatever is hot right now."
簡單講就是你真的有興趣然後花了很多時間搞懂的東西 別人很難複製 因為他們沒有你那個動機去鑽那麼深
槓桿
他把槓桿分三種：
- 勞力 — 請人幫你做事
- 資本 — 用錢放大產出
- 無邊際成本的產品 — 程式碼 文章 影片
"Code and media are permissionless leverage. They're the leverage behind the newly rich. You can create software and media that works for you while you sleep."
第三種不需要任何人的許可 寫一段程式可以同時被一百萬人用 這個概念蠻打到我的
幸福
書的後半段在講幸福跟內在平靜 本來沒預期會看到這塊
"Happiness is the absence of desire. It's what you feel when you stop wanting things."
當兵的時候剛好很多東西都不能自己決定 反而有空間去觀察自己在想什麼 這段在那個環境下讀起來特別有感
"A calm mind, a fit body, a house full of love. These things cannot be bought. They must be earned."
判斷力
"Work hard, but work on the right things. Nothing is more important than making good decisions."
大部分人不缺努力 缺的是判斷 他的觀點是判斷力可以透過大量閱讀跟跨領域思考來培養
"Reading is faster than listening. Doing is faster than watching."
